Grand Départ Barcelona 2026 – Program:
Day 1: Wednesday, July 1st – Welcome to Barcelona
Arrival in the city and reception by the Sportcontact team. After check-in, we will enjoy a welcome cocktail and the official presentation of the detailed program for this historic week.
Day 2: Thursday, July 2nd – Gala at the Sagrada Familia
Morning dedicated to the Grand Départ Opening Ceremony. Witness the official presentation of the world’s best cyclists with the iconic Sagrada Familia as the backdrop. Afternoon at leisure to discover the local cycling culture.
Day 3: Friday, July 3rd – The City's Sporting Legacy
Visit to the Joan Antoni Samaranch Olympic and Sports Museum to learn about Barcelona’s bond with major global sporting events.
Optional activity: Road cycling ride through the Serra de Collserola.
Day 4: Saturday, July 4th – Stage 1: Team Time Trial
A day of pure competition with the Tour’s first stage: a 19 km TTT through the streets of Barcelona. Experience the atmosphere from key vantage points while enjoying local gastronomy.
Route: Barcelona > Barcelona.
Day 5: Sunday, July 5th – Stage 2: From Tarragona to Montjuïc
Follow the second stage along the coast, with a strategic stop in Castelldefels for a gourmet lunch at an iconic cycling meeting point. The day culminates with the thrilling finish on Montjuïc mountain.
Distance: 182.4 km.
Day 6: Monday, July 6th – Stage 3: Heading to the Pyrenees
Join the peloton as they depart from Granollers towards the French border. Enjoy the race live and a traditional Catalan meal before our farewell.
Route: Barcelona > Les Angles (196 km).
Day 7: Tuesday, July 7th – Farewell and Departure
Final group breakfast and end of services. Transfer to the airport after an unforgettable week in the heart of the Tour de France.
