Stage 1: The stage starts on a wide but serpentine road with constant ups and downs that will take you to Tossa de Mar bordering the sea along the cliffs of the Costa Brava. Once in Tossa de Mar the road changes, becomes narrower and with better sea views. We leave this beautiful road at S’Alionç to face the climb to the Port of Sant Grau. This port starts at sea level and with its almost 7km and maximum ramps of 16% will be the most important challenge to overcome in this first day. Once at the top of Sant Grau is all down-hill to Llagostera.

Stage 2: The second stage runs along flat roads. After a few kilometers following quiet roads you will arrive in Salitja along a narrow and very rarely frequented road surrounded always by some fields and trees that will give you some shade at some points of the route. As you get closer to Brunyola the road will get more difficult. This will be an ideal place to take a short break and have a snack before facing the last kilometers of the day.

Stage 3: Today you will face a short run in terms of distance but very hard due to some ramps of more than 12%. Next to the Swamp of Susqueda, you will face the first major climb of this stage up to the beautiful Coll de Nafre (with great views) and then you will descend until Osor where without rest you will begin the climb to Sant Hilari. The road that takes you from Osor to Sant Hilari is full of natural mineral water sources, ideal for cooling-off iin hot weather.

Stage 4: The stage begins with a small ascent to the Serra de Matamala (Guilleries region) and then you will have a refreshing descent down a winding road mostly in the shade provided by lush vegetation. Once in Sant Sadurní d’Osomort you will take a road to Espinelves to enter the Natural Park of Montseny until arriving at Sant Marçal.

Stage 5: You will leave Sant Marçal and you will go towards Santa Fe del Montseny and you will be facing a peak that will take you to the maximum height of this Tour (1,300 meters). Fabulous views of Turó de l’Home can be seen form this point (a Lunar landscape in Montventoux style). With a descent of 20 km you will return to Blanes along secondary roads, with ups and downs and still with an important challenge to overcome: The port of Sant Feliu de Buixalleu. This a descent will reward you with fantastic views of the Medieval town of Hostalric, the east of Montseny mountains and the Castle of Montsoriu.

Stage 6: Last stage of the region La Selva. Leaving Breda you will face the port of Sant Feliu de Buixalleu. It will be the last challenge of this tour. You will enjoy fantastic views of the Medieval Villa of Hostalric, Montseny and the Castle of Montsoriu. Once in Hostalric you will return to Blanes along a road without many difficulties.
