The Venice Cup International Football Tournament will be held in Jesolo, one of the most famous seaside resorts in Italy. At just 40 km from Treviso Airport, the city boasts of 15 Km., of fine beaches, excellente hotels, and the beautiful city of Venice only 30 minutes away by ferry!  The surrounding countryside is very interesting also with places to visit such as Cavallino, Treporti, Ponte Crepaldo and Eraclea. Many tours are available to discover this unique city, with its world-heritage monuments, as San Marco Square,
Rialto Bridge and Palazzo Ducale!

Since the first edition of this tournament in 2007, over 700 matches have been played and over 2000 goals have been scored… They are all registered, one by one, in our archives, as evidence of our passion for what we do and because we do not want to forget the moments we have experienced together.

VENEZIA CUP - Spring Tournament

PROGRAMME
Day 1: Arrival of teams in Jesolo; check in at the official secretariat of the tournament; check in at the hotel followed by a technical meeting for coaches. Official opening ceremony with parade of all participating teams.

Day 2: Start of qualification matches for all categories. Sightsseing optional visit: tour of Venice.

Day 3: Tournament continues as per schedule. Qualification matches continue.

Day 4: Finals for all participating categories. Awards ceremony. Departure.

ORGANIZERS
The tournament is organized by 2Erre Organizzazioni -  sports events organizer specialist.

PITCHES
Several grass and artificial grass pitches are available in Jesolo and the surrounding area. NO metal studs are allowed in any of the pitches. Teams are requested to bring the appropriate boots to play.

THE AREA
The Lido di Jesolo is the beach area of the comune of Jesolo in the province of Venice, Italy. The town lies north of Venice, between Eraclea and Cavallino-Treporti. Jesolo gives its name to a lagoon (22 km²) on the Adriatic Sea, between the rivers Sile and Piave. The urbanized area lies on an island of sorts, delimited by the riversPiave (at east), the Sile (at west), and an artificial canal called 'Cavetta'. During your stay, there are a number of excursions your team can enjoy such as an excursion to VENICE and the ISLANDS by boat, visiting the Venetian Islands: Murano, Burano and Venezia. Groups min. 30 PAX; "THE PIRATE GALLEON": on board the Jolly Roger is another unforgettable tour of the Venetian lagoon.

DOCUMENTS & RULES
The tournament is regularly approved by F.I.G.C. Italian Football Federation and will follow the official regulations of F.I.G.C. youth section.
Teams/players must be members of their local/regional/national federation for the current season.

On arrival, you will be given an information folder containing documents and rules of the tournament together with final playing groups and kick-off times.

COMPETITION SYSTEM
Matches will be played in a league format in groups of mainly of 4 teams each; groups of 3 or 5 teams may also be possible. The organizers can change formats at their discretion. A maximum of 6 matches could be played. A minimum of 3 matches are guaranteed under any competition format.
Exceptionally, teams may have to play 2 matches on the same day or one after the other.

POINTS
Match won: 3 points; match drawn: 1 point; match lost: 0 points

TROPHIES

• One cup for each team from 1st to 4th place per category
• One Fair Play Cup for each category.
• One souvenir of the tournament per Club. 

ACCOMMODATION
Groups will be accommodated mostly along the coast of Jesolo within easy accces to the football pitches. Meals: you can choose between half or full board. Water is included during the meals. All hotels are heated and correspond to the official hotel classification. 

ASSISTANCE
A committee, specialized in sport events oversees the organization of your stay. You may also have your personal bilingual assistant with your team throughout your stay if you wish. (At extra cost).

TRANSPORTATION
When you choose your transportation to Italy, consider also the possibility of flying to the airports of Venice, Treviso  or MILAN/BERGAMO area, There are several low-cost airlines operating flights from the UK, Ireland, Holland, Italy, Germany and Spain.  We can arrange transfers and general transportation within Italy  on request.

NOTE: The registered teams undertake to participate in this sports competition at their own risks and decline to take any action whatsoever against the organizers and/or Sports Contact International, including any claims for personal injuries, damages to property, loss or theft. Prices do NOT include insurance. Players and participants are advised to subscribe an insurance policy to cover risks.
